Mission Data Product Owner
About the role
As a Mission Data Product Owner, you will support client forces through data-fusion analysis and methodology development. You will integrate data from different defense business groups and leverage technology and rapid prototyping to illuminate entities and insights of interest. You will analyze analytical methodologies tailored to customers ranging from tactical to strategic levels.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to client forces through data-fusion analysis and methodology development
- Leverage technology and rapid prototyping to illuminate entities and insights of interest
- Analyze analytical methodologies tailored to customers ranging from tactical to strategic levels
- Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes
- Guide the work to identify and facilitate the sharing of data with the client and mission partners via the client's Cloud architecture and web-based capabilities
- Work with the user community to gather feedback on capabilities to ensure they meet mission requirements and identify capability gaps
- Collaborate with developers to improve upon existing capabilities and develop new capabilities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in an Agile role supporting development or data teams
- Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira or Confluence and engaging with stakeholders at various levels
- Ability to communicate requirements, manage scope, and maintain alignment between stakeholder needs and team capacity
- Ability to visualize, describe, and assess CWMD threats and hazards that impact mission execution
- Proactive and able to operate in a dynamic environment
Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance
- High school diploma or GED
Skills
- Knowledge of the data ingestion process, including the process of building data pipelines and the criteria for selecting and preparing data for ingest to a platform
- Ability to communicate requirements, manage scope, and maintain alignment between stakeholder needs and team capacity
- Ability to visualize, describe, and assess CWMD threats and hazards that impact mission execution
- Proactive and able to operate in a dynamic environment
- Ability to foster collaboration across various teams

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
