Mission Cyber Integration

About the role

As a cyber mission specialist, you will apply your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions executed on a worldwide stage. In this role, you’ll evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions impacting our nation’s space exploration, particularly in lunar surface cybersecurity risk management, architecture, and design. You will aggregate threat feeds to inform senior leadership briefings aligned to space exploration and assess dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for applying cybersecurity to the lunar surface. Your work will directly support the development of operations plans for command and control.

Responsibilities

• Understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate weaknesses and the effectiveness of cybersecurity mitigations.
• Leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds for senior leadership briefings related to space exploration.
• Research and analyze adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures to inform operators and senior leadership on lunar surface cybersecurity.
• Develop operations plans to support command and control in the context of space missions.

Requirements

• Experience integrating cybersecurity requirements across various mission spaces.
• Experience with NIST 800-53 and the Risk Information Security Compliance System (RISCS).
• Knowledge of lunar surface cybersecurity requirements and industry best practices.
• Ability to articulate technical requirements to a broad stakeholder community.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.
• Bachelor's degree.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, skills, competencies, experience, and contract-specific requirements.
