Job Duties
- Develop technical specifications, code and unit test solutions to support interfaces, conversions, modifications, reports and workflows for the Oracle Financials implementation.
- Implementing new functions and development of several new extensions and interfaces as well as modification & re-deployment of several existing ones currently in use in the 10.5.10 instance.
- Perform extensive data conversion and migration from mainframe legacy systems.
- Fully understand system requirements and process flow analysis, perform technical design analysis and development.
- Work closely with the Financial Tech Lead, PeopleSoft Tech Lead, budget solution Project Manager, the Test Manager, and the Integration Manager to develop solutions appropriate to meet technical requirements throughout the prototype, development, testing, QA staging and Production Implementation phases of the Program related to Oracle Financials implementation.
- Provide technical expertise to Analysts to help develop enhancements & report requirements and help identify business process improvements.
- Provide estimates of the total resources required to complete any development work proposed in the requirements documents.
- Perform deliverable reviews and provide sign-offs in a timely fashion.
- Perform quality control reviews with the Applications Technical Lead for each custom object group.
- Ensure data integrity by developing and running queries to assess data quality.
- Provide support to the Applications Consultants to help identify and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Ensure system performance issues are communicated and resolved with the technical DBAs.
Qualifications
- EBS Application Developer experience in EBS Modules 10.5.10 and higher including General Ledger, Cash Management, Fixed Asset Accounting, Project Costing/Grants Billing, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, Accounts Payable, iExpense, iSupplier, and Purchasing.
- Oracle development experience that includes Metalink SQL, PL/SQL, and database procedures and packages.
- Oracle Discoverer, JDeveloper, COBOL, XML Publisher, PLSQL, Oracle Forms understanding of the Oracle EBS data structures, APIs and interfacing.
- PeopleSoft integration experience.
- Oracle EBS upgrade experience.
- Java programming language, UNIX, data conversions, and Oracle Workflow ability.
- Ability to formulate requirements and design specifications and code development reviews.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Recognized Technical Certification or Degree (e.g. Oracle Financials Certifications).
- Senior level Oracle Financials application development experience.
- Highly proficient in the use of requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, development and testing techniques and tools.
- Able to architect custom objects for performance, maintainability and re-use common logic routine.
- Advanced problem solving capabilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Specific knowledge of Workflow Extensions & Interfaces.
- Specific knowledge of Labor Distribution Integration, Workflow Integration, Project and Grants Module and Work Order Integration.
- Specific knowledge of Crystal Reporting, Business Objects Reporting.
- Specific knowledge of XML Publisher and BI Warehouse.
- Experience with certain aspects of Oracle Apps (11.0.3/11i) & Oracle Database (8i/9i/10g//10g RAC) in large scale UNIX & Linux environments.
- Experience or equivalent knowledge of BPEL Integration with PeopleSoft.
- Experience in managing & working through Oracle's TAR escalation process, applying software patches & upgrading the Oracle Apps environment.
- Experience with Oracle Portal.
- Experience with Oracle Single Sign-On and Oracle Internet Directory.
