About the role
The role of the Miscellaneous Metals Welding Foreman involves overseeing welding operations in a manufacturing environment. This includes managing a team of welders, ensuring quality standards are met, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Supervise welding operations to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Train and mentor new welders to improve skills and productivity.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and safe for use.
- Monitor work progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Resolve conflicts among team members and address employee concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in welding or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and materials.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Experience with welding inspection and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- $50,000 - $60,000 annually
