About the role
The Ministry Services Specialist plays a crucial role in the Ministry Services team, ensuring precise inventory control, accurate accounts receivable transactions, and exceptional customer service for both domestic and international supporters of Leading The Way (LTW).
Responsibilities
- System entry and follow-up on customer orders, donations, and general ministry inquiries received by mail, web, call center, and over the phone
- Non-cash data entry
- Calendar year-end tax statement processing/research
- Assisting Ministry Relations with product data entry/fulfillment
- Creating new product codes, monitoring existing
- Product inventory control
- Assisting with new account and monthly donor mailings
Qualifications
- Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s preferred
- 3+ years of customer service and data entry experience required
- Accounts receivable experience desired
- Personal qualities of honesty, integrity, credibility, friendliness; professional, selfless servant, punctual, and detail oriented
- Must be a problem solver, organized, and a team player
- Superior telephone communication skills
- Office automation skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Must agree with LTW’s Church Membership & Statement of Faith

- Compensation includes: Salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, group term life insurance, long-term disability insurance, after one year, eligibility to participate in 403(b) retirement plan—currently LTW contributes 9% of salary to plan and matches a portion of employee contributions, vacation, holiday, personal, and sick pay
