Minister - LM Camp Aide

Part-time position within the Elementary department, reporting to the LM Camp Coordinator.

About the Role

LM Camp Counselors provide high-quality play, educational, and biblical experiences for campers in grades Kindergarten through 6th at Lake Mead Christian Ministries. Counselors uphold LMCM’s mission statement, support team members professionally and personally, and work constructively as part of a team. The Coordinator will provide training on responsibilities and tasks. A high standard of professional conduct is expected, demonstrating Christ-like judgment and integrity in confidential situations with students, parents, and staff. Counselors work consistent contracted hours unless special events require adjustments and must approach all duties with flexibility and a constructive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the well-being of campers by providing a safe environment and following all LMCM policies and procedures (refer to LM Culture Guide).
• Designs and leads fun, age-appropriate activities for campers in grades K–6.
• Maintains constant, undistracted supervision of campers (personal devices such as cell phones and smart watches are prohibited except for emergencies).
• Provides available snacks and supplies to campers.
• Actively plays and interacts with campers during activities.
• Respects team members, campers, and parents.
• Completes assigned tasks promptly or by the deadline provided by the Coordinator.
• Keeps personal devices stored during shifts (cell phones permitted only for emergencies).
• Equips self with necessary tools during shifts (radio, medical bag, work keys, etc.).
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all matters that arise.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Pay

$13.00 per hour.
