Description Of Responsibilities
- Provide expert advisory services to clients on mine ventilation design, optimization, and safety best practices
- Lead and support technical studies, audits, and due diligence reviews related to ventilation and air quality
- Prepare clear, concise technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on feasibility studies, operational improvements, and expansion projects
- Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client relationship management
- Develop and evaluate mine ventilation systems for underground and/or surface operations
- Conduct site visits to perform ventilation surveys, airflow measurements, and system assessments
- Identify and mitigate risks related to dust, diesel emissions, heat stress, and hazardous gases
- Recommend and support implementation of ventilation improvements and infrastructure upgrades
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience in mine ventilation and/or mine safety (consulting experience preferred)
- Proficiency with ventilation modeling software
- Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and industry best practices
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in the future preferred
