Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon
Job Description
University Health Physicians and The University of Missouri-Kansas City Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Academic Specialists seeks a BC/BE Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) faculty member to join their very busy practice serving a diverse population of patients.
- Provides advanced surgical care for women with complex gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, and other complex gynecologic pathology utilizing laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic techniques.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care while supporting the ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program through resident education and surgical training.
- Treats a wide range of complex gynecologic diseases utilizing office-based and surgical treatment modalities.
This is a new position within the Division and the successful candidate will initially cover Obstetrics and Gynecologic services while building the practice.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery is preferred.
The UMKC SOM Department of OB/GYN has a fully accredited residency program as well as an accredited maternal-fetal medicine fellowship program.
Pay
Academic appointment and salary will be commensurate with background.
