Mine Tire / OTR Tire Tech

About the role

Purcell's Global Mining Group seeks an experienced OTR Service Tech to join our team in Western Nevada. This position requires OTR tire experience, boom (hands) truck experience, and current MSHA certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic boom arm
• Dismount and mount OTR tires on sites using the proper tools & safe procedures
• Disassemble and reassemble tires onto wheels ensuring correct size and ply
• Repair tires as needed; replacing valve stems, removing puncturing objects
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment clean and maintained
• Capture & track site data following and ensuring their issued schedule
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of work area

Requirements

• Valid CDL with 3-year clean MVR
• No DUIs & no more than 2 moving violations

Qualifications

Must have OTR tire experience and boom (hands) truck experience. Must be current MSHA certified.

Skills

Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are essential. Proficiency with hand tools and a strong safety record are also required.
