Mine Support Operator

Underground Mine Support Operator Support the safe and reliable operation of an underground salt mining facility by cleaning and clearing salt buildup throughout the mine. Assist with maintaining access and equipment readiness by supporting shaft elevators, feeders, conveyors, and walkways. Key Duties Remove salt buildup and keep work areas clean, organized, and uncluttered.Support maintenance and functionality of shaft elevators, feeders, conveyors, and walkways.Operate mining support equipment, including forklifts, trucks, tractors, and bobcats.Conduct routine checks on assets and report issues as needed.Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements to maintain a safe work environment.Assist production teams to support operational needs. Qualifications & Skills Working knowledge of underground mine environments and related safety practices.Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail in inspections.Commitment to PPE compliance and adherence to safety rules.Willingness to assist production teams and perform support tasks as required.
