Job Responsibilities
- Create construction documents, including drafting and detailing.
- Cook up with consultants and internal team members throughout all project phases.
- Perform construction administration, including shop drawing and submittal review.
- Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project.
- Attend field and coordination meetings and support overall team communication.
- Ensure quality completion of deliverables on time and on budget.
- Manage client relationships and team communication.
- Serve as the client’s primary day-to-day contact, responding to questions and concerns in a timely manner.
- Track key metrics and project data.
- Affirm contract compliance and execution.
- Participate in programming, visioning, and site assessment tasks.
- Participate in the invoicing process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Expertise in commercial, hospitality, multi-family, or mixed-use design projects.
- 8+ years of architectural design experience.
- 8+ years of Revit experience with full construction documentation experience.
- Strong knowledge of technical design, construction drawing documentation, and detailing.
- Experience coordinating consultants and contributing to construction administration.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with increasing responsibility in coordination and delivery.
- Holistic understanding of the design process from concept through construction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- RA, AIA, CID, and LEED accreditation a plus.
- Must currently reside in South Florida or be willing to relocate.
