About the role
Boise Cascade is seeking qualified candidates to join our maintenance team. Will work in a plywood mill as an Electrician A.
Responsibilities
- Work with Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLC)
- Troubleshoot and change electric motors
- Diagnose chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, MTS temposonics, and various sizes of transformers
Qualifications
- Full understanding and working knowledge of multi-meters, wiggies, meggers, amprobes, temperature meter, and servo driver
- Working knowledge of shop math and blueprint reading
- Working knowledge of relay logic systems, circuit breakers, starters, etc.
- Competent in working with Windows-based computer programs such as Windows Explorer and RSLogix
- Two years electrical experience in manufacturing industry required
- Wood products field a plus
- Vocational or technical school diploma in electricity/electronics preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
