About the role
Build, Repair, Improve, Repeat. Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and keeping operations running at peak performance? Didion is looking for a Millwright to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the production of food-grade ingredients, ethanol, and other corn-based products. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment
- Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities
- Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work
- Replace belts, bearings, and mechanical components
- Support maintenance and construction projects across the facility
- Operate tools, testing equipment, and industrial vehicles safely
- Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and movement
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Construction, and Production teams
- Continuously develop your skills with growth opportunities toward a Millwright Lead role
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance, millwright, or construction experience
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Physical & Work Environment
- Work in an environment that may include dust, noise, heat, and cold
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequently climb stairs and ladders
- Work at heights and in confined spaces when required
- Ability to use required safety equipment and communicate via two-way radio
Pay
$28–$32 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
