We are seeking an experienced Millwork Project Manager to lead the execution of custom fabrication projects from concept through installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture, commercial construction, or millwork, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Detroit facility. Core Responsibilities Manage all phases of millwork projects including budgeting, scheduling, production, and installation; collaborate with estimating on budget handoff at project award.- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams.- Build relationships with key vendor partners and subcontractors to ensure overall project execution.- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to develop detailed project plans.- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure design intent and fabrication feasibility.- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues to avoid delays or cost overruns.- Lead project risk management - identify, assess, and mitigate risks to scope, schedule, budget, and site conditions.- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, verify measurements, and oversee installation.- Collaborate with the project team to uphold quality control standards.- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Qualifications 2-5 years of project management experience in millwork, casework, or commercial construction.- Working knowledge of millwork materials, fabrication processes, and installation techniques.- The ability to read and interpret architectural and/or shop drawings.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.- Experience with Innergy (or similar ERP), Textura, Bluebeam, and construction pay applications (AIA G702/G703) is a plus.- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface directly with design teams, general contractors, and installation crews.- Ability to manage multiple custom millwork projects in a fast-paced environment.- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience welcomed.Why Join GANAS MFG Work on architecturally significant projects nationwide - immersive entertainment venues, automotive landmarks, aerospace facilities, and luxury residential and hospitality environments.- Coordinate engineering and fabrication teams to deliver projects where precision and craftsmanship come together.- Enjoy competitive compensation, growth potential, and hands-on project ownership.- Be part of a creative, builder-driven culture shaping some of Detroit's most innovative spaces.About GANAS MFG GANAS MFG is a Detroit-based fabrication and millwork company specializing in high-end architectural environments.
