Millwork Operation Asst Project Manager

Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, responsibilities, and deadlines while remaining highly organized.
- Maintain and promote a culture of discipline and effective communication.
- Promote and display operational values.
- Gain knowledge of all assigned project scopes, schedules, deliverables, and personnel.
- Coordinate between field personnel, shop fabrication, engineering, estimating, and installation departments.
- Organize, manage, and forecast project financials.
- Complete standard project engineer tasks while continuing effective project management growth.
- Assist with planning, leadership, and effective overall operational growth and planning.
- Utilize liberating leadership techniques to train and effectively manage installation crews.
- Assist and/or lead project engineer training.
Requirements
- Knowledge of commercial casework and millwork industry fabrication and installation methods.
- Project scheduling and forecasting experience.
- Leadership development and training knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business administration, marketing, or journalism.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities.
- Customer/client focus.
Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant experience required. Must pass a pre-employment screen, including drug and alcohol screen, background check, motor vehicle records check, reference check, and physical (if applicable). Must hold a current and valid driver’s license in the state of permanent residence and be insurable by Jayne’s automobile insurance carrier.
Work Environment
This role operates on project jobsites and in a main office setting. The position requires up to 20% travel.
Physical Demands
The physical demands include minor lifting duties, though most work is office-oriented.
Supervisory Responsibility
This is a full-time position with full management and supervisory responsibilities.
