About the role

Responsibilities

  • Performs assembly of interior and exterior doors
  • Work at various machine centers as needed
  • Verify accuracy of work orders to materials and assembly instructions
  • Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers
  • Inspect all materials for defects and appropriate quality/condition
  • Work with other team members to fulfill orders and complete tasks daily
  • Maintain clean working area
  • Follow all safety procedures (OSHA compliance)
  • Engage in all required safety programs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Basic High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
  • Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
  • Ability to read tape measurements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with millwork
  • Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
  • Prior experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand during the entire work shift
  • Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
  • Continuously lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Work Environment

  • Repetitive physical motion
  • High traffic warehouse and shop
  • Work in a loud environment and wear the provided personal protective equipment
