Responsibilities
- Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality expectations while supporting a production schedule.
- Execute daily priorities and duties as defined by the supervisor or area lead.
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines (HBM/VMC Milling machines) to produce products that meet required specifications throughout the manufacturing shop.
- Complete required documentation (work routers, inspections sheets, etc.) with accurate information.
- Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications by applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) concepts and report any non-conformities.
- Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Operate overhead cranes to move, lift, and flip parts safely.
- Apply basic written and verbal communication skills, basic math, and basic PC skills.
- Read and comprehend instructions, work orders, and drawings.
- Work independently and in a team environment.

- Work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions, if required.

- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience on HBM and VMC milling machines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in a range of processes or procedures.
- Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others.
- Good communication skills to exchange moderately complex information, typically within own team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of CNC machining, preferably on large mills/HBM and Vertical Mills (4&5 axis).
- Advanced understanding of CNC machine controls such as Siemens, Mazatrol, Toshiba, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools, and measuring equipment.
- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining.
- Demonstrated ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret G-code programs.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and adherence to processes and policies.
Schedule
1st shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday (with overtime as required). Some weekends and holidays will be required.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status. No relocation assistance provided. Location: Houston, TX - JFK.
