Responsibilities

• Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for CNC machines
• Perform machine setup, including zeroing axes, loading programs, and verifying parameters
• Monitor machine operations during production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity
• Troubleshoot machining issues, including tooling wear, offsets, and surface finish concerns
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with Inspection, Leads, and Off-shift Personnel
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality
• Prioritize according to demand
• Conduct good housekeeping
• Comply with ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements
• Other work-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to read basic level blueprints features
• Must be able to use micrometers, dial calipers, and comparators
• Basic understanding of metrology reporting
• Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed
• Must be able to comply with Quality System requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Device experience
