Responsibilities
- Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces for CNC machines
- Perform machine setup, including zeroing axes, loading programs, and verifying parameters
- Monitor machine operations during production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity
- Troubleshoot machining issues, including tooling wear, offsets, and surface finish concerns
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with Inspection, Leads, and Off-shift Personnel
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality
- Prioritize according to demand
- Conduct good housekeeping
- Comply with ISO13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements
- Other work-related tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Must be able to read basic level blueprints features
- Must be able to use micrometers, dial calipers, and comparators
- Basic understanding of metrology reporting
- Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed
- Must be able to comply with Quality System requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Device experience
