About the role
The Material Specialist Intern will process and kit material requests for timely delivery to job sites. This role has direct interaction with engineering, construction, suppliers, and vendors to determine needs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Determine what work will be performed by contractors
- Ensure areas are environmentally compliant
- Ensure environmental and governmental records are completed timely and filed according to regulations
- Assign tasks to store keepers who receive, store, count and issue materials, parts, supplies, tools and equipment in a cost-effective manner to meet Company and District Goals
Requirements
MUST BE ACTIVE-DUTY MILITARY, IN THE LAST 180 DAYS OF SERVICE, TO QUALIFY.
Qualifications
- Active-duty military service in the last 180 days
