About the role
Draganfly Inc. is seeking a Military Request for Information (RFI) Owner to manage the company's defense-related opportunities. This position involves identifying, qualifying, and coordinating defense-related opportunities to support the company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Military Opportunity Identification
- Maintain the military opportunity pipeline, identify upcoming pursuits, forecast procurement activity, and support bid/no-bid decisions.
- Military Capture Management
- Develop capture plans, opportunity summaries, and pursuit strategies in collaboration with Military Growth leadership.
- Capture customer engagement efforts, teaming partnerships, and key milestones leading to formal solicitations.
- Proposal Management
- Lead military proposal efforts from kickoff through submission, including schedules, compliance matrices, response outlines, and executive reviews.
- Cross-functional contributions to ensure accurate, compliant, and on-time submissions.
- Military Sales Support
- Support Military Sales Executives with customer intelligence, procurement calendars, opportunity tracking, and pursuit activities.
- Develop capability statements and customer-facing materials, and assist with briefings, demonstrations, evaluations, and pilot programs.
- Proposal Library & Knowledge Management
- Maintain proposal libraries, templates, reusable content, certifications, resumes, references, capability statements, and past performance records.
- Coordinate proposal deliverables, kickoff meetings, status reviews, and deadline management.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Track pipeline value, proposal activity, win rates, and pursuit outcomes.
- Maintain dashboards and provide reporting on upcoming opportunities, strategic pursuits, and overall performance.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in military proposals, defense contracting, government procurement, capture management, or military business development.
- Experience responding to military RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, BAAs, OTA opportunities, or defense tenders.
- Strong project management skills.
- Exceptional written communication abilities.
- Experience coordinating technical teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM systems and proposal management tools.
Nice to Have
- Defense, aerospace, public safety, or military technology experience.
- Experience supporting Canadian, U.S., NATO, or allied military customers.
- APMP certification.
- Familiarity with military acquisition processes.
- Experience with UAV, robotics, ISR, communications, or defense systems.
