Apply now!!! 2026 Salary Range: $89,508 - $138,370 yearly w/ locality Job Open Date: 8/25/2026 Job Close Date: 9/2/2026 Who may apply: All U.S. Citizens To serve as an Air Force Sustainment Center-level (AFSC) Program Analyst providing for the management of military force development programs across the Center. Delivers expert advisory services for Center leadership on active duty and reserve military force development. Provides critical operational mission man-day management, incorporating strategic vision and Air Force policy/guidance to promote career enhancement, advancement, and promotion opportunities for developing agile, professional, and highly skilled warfighters. Develops Center-level policy and instructions for management of significant military force development subjects. Requirements Obtain & maintain security clearanceMay be required to travel to perform temporary dutyMay have extended/other than normal duty hoursApplicant must have vast knowledge/experience in military professional development programs and processes Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSA) 1. Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to participate in the assessment and improvement of command level plans and programs and other related requirements.2. Knowledge of Air Force and command program goals and objectives; the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones; methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions related to actual events; and the relationship of the various command entities involved in overall program planning and execution of military operations and evaluations.3. Knowledge of missions, functions, goals, objectives, work practices, and education and training requirements pertinent to installation programs/organizations.4. Knowledge of commonly used education and training methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify and execute the Workforce Development and Military Force Development mission.5. Skill in designing and conducting comprehensive studies, preparing solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues of effectiveness and efficiency of Military Force Development programs.6. Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze data to prepare reports, develop alternatives, and make recommendations to resolve problems.7. Ability to plan, organize, and negotiate effectively with senior analysts and management to accept and implement recommendations, where proposals involve substantial resources, and require extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.8. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.
