Milford's Barista / Outlet Cashier

About the role

We are looking for a part-time Barista/Outlet Cashier to join our team at Watermark Baton Rouge, located in beautiful downtown. You will report to the Outlet Manager/Supervisor and provide the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. This is a tipped position in our Milford’s on Third dining facility, a New York City-style deli with Southern-charmed offerings.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees.
• Be familiar with the organization of the Restaurant(s), lounges, and Room Service, and know the function of each job position.
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in applicable outlets.
• Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Receive and deliver guest orders and collect payment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
• Experience in fine dining is helpful.
