About The Job
The Milestone-Validation Lead is responsible for maintaining construction inspection checklists status and scheduling inspections and coordinating with city authorities, third parties, investment management, and development teams.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Track checklist completion for completeness and accuracy
- Oversee the overview of project schedule and corresponding checklists before moving to the next stage
- Validate and schedule internal/external inspections based on defined milestones
- Report schedule updates and coordinate with the Taktical Control Lead for schedule reporting
- Daily review of the project schedule and project checklists to ensure milestones are met in the correct sequence
- Coordinate inspections with the field team
- Manage/correspond with third-party and city inspections
- Develop a good working relationship with AHJ inspection schedulers and third-party inspections
- Track and document lessons learned from City Jurisdictions on inspections, TCO, and CO
- Update and schedule PSM and OAC meetings
- Update and schedule with Investment management for turnover meetings
- Report, track, and notify of milestone activities adherence to the plan
- Validate work in progress for pay app
- Ensure accuracy of dashboard information
- Oversee and train the responsibilities of the Milestone Validation Specialist
- Ensure all project documentation is being collected in a timely manner and manage the closeout process
- Work directly with the Commercial Leads for financial close out
- Track O&M, Warranty, and Procore documents for all close out
Education, Work Experience, And Physical Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years experience in a business or professional setting (inclusive of non-profit or government roles)
- Proven experience in an executive support role or similar position
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in using business software and tools, including MS Office and project management applications
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
