Migration Program Manager – Customer Transformation
About the role
As the Migration Program Manager at Lexipol, you will lead the successful migration of Lexipol customers from legacy platforms to the LexOne platform through highly coordinated customer transformation programs. This role combines program management, release readiness, customer transformation, data-driven planning, and cross-functional operational leadership. You will work across Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Customer Support, and Content teams to synchronize product readiness with customer eligibility and migration execution.
Responsibilities
- Migration Program Leadership (40%)
- Own end-to-end execution of customer migration programs from planning through post-migration stabilization.
- Build and maintain integrated migration schedules across multiple workstreams.
- Lead cross-functional project meetings, executive status reviews, decision logs, risk registers, and action tracking.
- Develop migration wave plans aligned with organizational priorities.
- Drive execution against program milestones while proactively managing schedule risks.
- Facilitate governance meetings with executive stakeholders.
- Maintain program documentation including meeting notes, agendas, key deliverables, and other necessary documentation.
- Develop standardized migration methodologies and build reusable templates, run books, and governance processes.
- Measure migration success through KPIs and adjust plans as needed based on customer feedback.
- Customer Migration Planning & Data Analysis (20%)
- Analyze customer populations across legacy platforms to evaluate readiness, platform compatibility, product configuration, customizations, and dependencies.
- Form recommendations about customer migration sequencing in collaboration with Customer Success and Product.
- Develop customer segmentation models that determine migration eligibility and recommend customer migration waves.
- Continuously adjust migration wave composition as product capabilities evolve.
- Release Readiness & Cross-Functional Coordination (20%)
- Partner with Product Management and Engineering to align customer migrations with software release schedules.
- Coordinate release readiness checkpoints.
- Track product defects impacting migration eligibility.
- Manage dependency tracking across Development, QA, Professional Services, Customer Success, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
- Ensure migration run books accurately reflect current release functionality.
- Incorporate roadmap changes into migration planning.
- Customer Transformation & Journey Management (20%)
- Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, and Communications teams to define customer journey experiences.
- Coordinate customer communications throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Validate readiness of training, documentation, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and support materials.
- Ensure customers receive consistent messaging before, during, and after migration.
- Support executive communications for large enterprise migrations.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience managing large-scale enterprise software implementations or digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise SaaS platform migration or modernization programs.
- Experience coordinating large cross-functional programs involving Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Professional Services.
- Proven ability to analyze complex operational data and make strategic planning recommendations.
- Executive presentation & communication skills: present weekly to CEO & ELT.
- Strong understanding of Agile software development and release management practices.
- Advanced project planning and risk management skills.
- Experience facilitating executive steering committees and governance meetings.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent migration waves simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, project management, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Customer platform migration experience.
- SaaS implementation leadership.
- Experience with Salesforce, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planview AdaptiveWork, and Power BI.
- PMP or Agile certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise customers.
- Public safety software experience.
- Experience with data migration methodologies.
- Knowledge of customer change management practices.

Pay
Base salary for this role is $155,000, plus a bonus opportunity.
