Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel components (primarily flat, some vertical welds).
- Lay out, position, and secure parts according to basic blueprints and shop drawings.
- Use power tools (circular saw, band saw, air impacts, air/electric drills, grinders).
- Use hand tools and measuring tools with precision.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Ensure weld quality meets industry and company standards.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of MIG welding experience (steel fabrication preferred).
- Strong tape measurement and blueprint reading skills.
- Proficiency with both power and hand tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $20.00 - $25.00, based on experience.
