MIG Welder - 2nd Shift

About the role

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking MIG Welder/Fabricators to join their team at the Tonawanda Processing Plant. The role involves making, repairing, and maintaining carbon steel collection dumpsters using MIG welding with 75/25 shielded gas on Miller 252 machines, as well as performing additional tasks such as fabricating parts, painting, shearing, cutting, and bending. Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. has been in business since 2005, collects and recycles used cooking oil to produce biodiesel, operates in 15 states serving over 27,000 locations, and complies with the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act.

Responsibilities

• Make, repair, and maintain carbon steel collection dumpsters.
• Fabricate additional parts as needed.
• Perform painting, shearing, cutting, and bending tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Must be drug free.
• Must be reliable and hard working.
• Ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum 1 year of MIG welding experience or recent BOCES welding graduate (required).

Schedule

2nd shift: Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 pm to 1:00 am.
