About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) is seeking telephonic interpreters to work from home. This contract position involves providing over-the-phone interpretation services.

Responsibilities

• Interpret for clients in various industries including insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.
• Service clients with high volume of calls, primarily medical in nature.
• Set your own schedule and provide interpreting services any time using CLI's online portal or landline telephone.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States and reside in the U.S.
• Interpreting experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Meet all requirements to work in the United States legally (SSN or EIN and Photo ID required).
• Reside in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pass a language assessment.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Knowledge of relevant industry terminology.

Benefits

• Paid on a per-minute basis, with payment issued twice monthly via direct deposit.
