Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of patients and their families
- Practice high quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered medicine
- Manage patients for hospital births and support in-house OB backup
- Manage low-risk birth center for selected patients
- Work in a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and specialized newborn care
Requirements
- CNM Certification
- Washington State RN and APNP licenses required at time of employment
- DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Health Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay
The posted compensation range of $139,185 - $178,270/year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
This is a full-time (.80FTE) position based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, a 375 bed Level III Trauma Center. The weekly schedule is variable and typically includes two 12 hour inpatient shifts and one 8 hour clinic day in a 7 day work week.
