Responsibilities
- Model, sculpt, UV unwrap, and texture a variety of 3D assets (props, environments, characters depending on project).
- Ensure assets meet artistic direction, gameplay requirements, and technical specifications.
- Integrate 3D assets into game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine with proper material setup and optimization.
- Collaborate with concept artists, art leads, and technical teams to maintain consistency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Receive and implement feedback from Art Directors and clients effectively.
- Work within established pipelines while helping to improve and adapt workflows when necessary.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in the game industry or outsourcing environment.
- Proficient in 3D modeling tools such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
- Strong skills in texturing using Substance Painter/Designer or similar tools.
- Understanding of real-time rendering pipelines and game asset optimization techniques.
- Experience integrating assets into Unity and/or Unreal Engine, including material creation and level setup.
- Strong sense of form, proportion, color, and lighting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote team.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant 3D work in games.
