About the role
CGI Federal is seeking a Middleware Team Lead (Web Software Developer – Senior) to support a program for the Army's PL ALTESS contract. The position is based in USA VA Radford.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage middleware software supporting customer applications.
- Architect, install, configure, and maintain Application and Web Servers, Portals, and associated software in LINUX, UNIX, and Windows environments.
- Maintain infrastructure to meet availability and performance standards.
- Schedule deployment activities and new installations of mid-tier infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain mid-tier system monitoring and administrative dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with Cyber Command Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Perform Security Readiness Reviews (SRR) and document findings in a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) document.
Requirements
- Experience in Computer Science or IT.
- Three or more years' experience with Application Server architecture in a large enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache Tomcat (TOMCAT), Apache, Java, WebLogic, WebSphere, or similar class server systems.
- Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, DTD, XSLT, Xerces, and Xalan.
- Familiarity with the Java or C# programming languages.
- Knowledge of the Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and SQL Server RDBMS.
- Knowledge of UNIX and Windows administrations.
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IAVM.
