About the role

At ABI Resources, we are dedicated to aiding individuals recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) in their journey towards recovery in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive Support: Assist clients in all aspects of home and community life, ensuring safety and promoting independence.
  • Professional Friendship: Establish a healthy, supportive bond with clients.
  • Daily Living Assistance: Help with personal hygiene, dressing, and maintaining a clean, organized living space.
  • Health and Wellness Management: Coordinate and attend medical appointments, encourage consistent exercise, and facilitate social activities.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preferably 1 year in disability care (not mandatory).
  • Valid driver's license, personal car, proof of insurance, and minimum age of 18.
  • References: Provide a recommendation from a personal or professional contact.

Skills
