Responsibilities
- Preparing and implementing rigorous lesson plans that are differentiated to meet the learning needs of all students.
- Creating and maintaining a learning environment where every child feels safe, loved, and inspired to learn and grow.
- Serving as a role model for students, modeling the Catholic faith and values.
- Leading instruction using a rigorous curriculum that inspires intellectual curiosity, reinforces the joy of learning, and enables all students to thrive.
- Engaging in an ongoing data-driven cycle of assessment, analysis, and action.
- Achieving meaningful student achievement and growth results aligned with the school's mission and annual goals.
- Implementing school-wide systems for academics, culture, and character formation.
- Connecting with families through frequent phone calls, emails, conferences, and notes.
- Developing meaningful relationships with students and parents that drive students to love learning, act with integrity, and make exceptional academic gains.
- Participating in up to three weeks of summer training before school’s opening.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development.
- Helping students develop a personal relationship with Christ, and working to grow in one’s own relationship with Christ.

Physical Requirements
- Spend the majority of the day standing in the classroom.
- Frequently hold objects they are working with or demonstrating.
- Sit on an occasional basis when developing lesson plans, grading, etc.
- Walk through the classroom and be able to maneuver in tight spaces between desks.
- Walk on both even and uneven surfaces.
- Reach at, below, or above shoulder height with the dominant upper extremity; may require trunk or neck rotation to look back at the class.
- Occasionally lift and carry boxes weighing up to 25 pounds from the office to classrooms.
- May be required to conduct trips to, from, and within various city and county-wide locations to attend trainings or workshops, and/or field trips.
