Summary

Essential Functions
- Create a classroom environment that aligns with KTEC's mission, vision, and values.
- Seek and use feedback for personal growth and innovation.
- Listen actively, assume good intentions, and consider multiple perspectives.
- Be an active member of the professional learning community.
- Manage, prepare, and implement lessons that meet grade level standards and meet the needs of diverse students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Organize and participate in special activities.
- Design, deliver, and assess nature-based, inquiry-based, and project-based learning.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development.
- Guide placement procedures and select curriculum, equipment, and materials.
Other Functions
- Work towards proficiency in Wisconsin’s Educator Effectiveness System.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by school administration.
Position Qualifications
Experience, Education, and Licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in education.
- Current and appropriate Teaching License from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
