Position Overview

Saint Agnes School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and qualified full-time Middle School Teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, faith-filled learning environment while delivering engaging instruction in the sciences and humanities.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruction: Teach Middle School Science (Grades 6–8) and two Social Studies classes.
• Homeroom Management: Serve as a Middle School homeroom teacher, overseeing daily attendance, morning prayer, and student morning/dismissal routines.
• Curriculum & Assessment: Plan, implement, and assess lessons aligned with Archdiocesan standards.
• Community Engagement: Maintain open, professional communication with parents, administration, and colleagues.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, History, or a related field (Certificates/licensure preferred).
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Able to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum.
• A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.

Mandatory Clearances & Training

• All standard Pennsylvania background checks and clearances must be provided/completed.
• Required documentation as outlined in the teacher application must be completed.
• "Protecting God’s Children" training certification through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia must be obtained.
