About the Role
Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and create an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth.
Responsibilities
- Developed, implemented, and monitored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Planned and delivered differentiated instruction tailored to students' academic, behavioral, and functional needs.
- Conducted ongoing assessments, collected data, and monitored student progress toward IEP goals.
- Collaborated with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Modified curriculum, instructional materials, and assessments to ensure accessibility and meaningful participation.
- Implemented evidence-based behavior management strategies and positive behavioral interventions.
- Maintained accurate documentation, progress reports, and special education records.
- Facilitated IEP meetings and communicated student progress with parents and guardians.
- Utilized assistive technology and adaptive instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Fostered a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encouraged independence, self-advocacy, and social-emotional development.
- Participated in professional development, multidisciplinary meetings, and school-wide initiatives to improve student achievement.

Pay
Competitive salary range: $48,500 – $62,500.
