Middle School Special Education Teacher / Case Manager

About the Role

Plan and/or monitor a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, abilities, and goals of students in special education.

Responsibilities

• Employ instructional methods and materials most appropriate for meeting student goals
• Consult with district specialists, regular education teachers, parents, and community providers
• Plan and oversee assignments of paraprofessionals
• Maintain compliance regarding timelines in the special education process
• Maintain NHSEIS for assigned caseload
