About the role

The primary responsibility is to provide support to special education teachers in the classroom setting. This includes assisting students with individualized educational plans, facilitating small group instruction, and ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with IEPs in the classroom
• Assisting with lesson planning and implementation
• Facilitating small group instruction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Current certification as a paraprofessional in Missouri
• Experience working with students with special needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
