Middle School Math-Leave Replacement (September 2026 - May 2027)
About the role
Grace seeks a confident and creative math teacher who loves teaching middle school students to fill a family leave position from September 2026 to May 2027. The ideal candidate takes professional growth seriously; values conceptual understanding and not just procedural fluency; communicates effectively with students, families, and colleagues; brings tools and strategies for differentiating instruction within the context of heterogeneous groups; and will work collaboratively to develop curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teaching load would include sections of seventh and eighth grade math.
- Other responsibilities may include lunch duty, clubs, tutorials, and other supervisory duties.
- Familiarity with the Open Up Resources: Illustrative Math Program is a plus.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree and teaching experience are required. A master’s degree is preferred.
Compensation
This is a full-time faculty position with an expected base salary of $68,000–$155,040 commensurate with education and experience on the faculty salary scale.
