Middle School Math

About the role

The Middle School Math teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to students in grades 6-8.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and activities
• Provide individualized support to students who need additional assistance
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Secondary Mathematics
• Experience teaching middle school mathematics is preferred but not required
