Responsibilities
- Delivers engaging mathematics instruction aligned with NCTM standards, Trinity School curriculum, and best practices in middle school education
- Differentiates instruction to support a range of learners and promote equitable access to rigorous content
- Establishes clear expectations for student learning and provides timely, meaningful feedback
- Uses a variety of assessment methods to monitor progress and inform instruction
- Integrates instructional technology to enhance student engagement and deepen understanding
- Creates a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student belonging and well-being
- Implements effective classroom management strategies that foster independence and responsibility
- Serves as a homeroom teacher and student advisor, supporting students’ academic and personal growth
- Actively supervises students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other assigned duties
- Maintains timely and professional communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Uses the school’s learning management system to post assignments, resources, and updates
- Maintains accurate and current records in the electronic gradebook
- Collaborates with colleagues, student support teams, and administrators to support student success
- Participates in faculty meetings, professional development, retreats, and school committees
- Engages in ongoing professional growth consistent with AIMS principles of reflective practice and continuous improvement
- Contributes positively to the life of the school community and supports the mission of Trinity School
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary or Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics (or related field)
- Knowledge of NCTM standards and middle school math instructional practices
- Experience using educational technology tools to support instruction

Salary range: $40,000 - $73,000, commensurate with experience.
