About the role
The Middle School Health and PE Teacher will lead physical education classes and promote healthy lifestyles among students.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement health and physical education curriculum aligned with state standards.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate health and fitness concepts across the curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback through formal and informal assessments.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in health and PE education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Physical Education.
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Ability to swim and perform CPR.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of Common Core State Standards.
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Pay
- $40,000 - $45,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
