Middle School Head Track Coach

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive track and field program for middle school students
• Coach and mentor student-athletes to improve their skills and achieve athletic success
• Encourage and promote sportsmanship and positive character development among athletes
• Maintain a safe and positive coaching environment that supports student learning and growth

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience at the middle school level
• Strong knowledge of track and field rules and regulations
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and other school staff
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for practice and meets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field preferred
• Experience with administrative tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and record keeping

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures

Pay

The rate of pay for this position is $2,642.00, in accordance with the EMLF Master Agreement.

Schedule

Hours will be determined based on the needs of the program and may include evenings and weekends.
