About the role
The Middle School Head Girls Basketball Coach at Classical Charter School is responsible for leading and developing a team of young athletes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive basketball program that aligns with the school’s mission and values.
- Coach players in fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Manage practice schedules and game planning.
- Work closely with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive athletic program.
- Attend all games and practices to provide support and guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Proven experience coaching girls’ basketball at the middle school level.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate students.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Experience with budget management and facility maintenance.
