About the role

Valley Catholic Middle School seeks an enthusiastic and collaborative educator to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year. Since opening as an independent middle school in 2011, we have built a reputation for academic excellence, meaningful relationships, and educating the whole child.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging lessons that promote deep learning and critical thinking.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Foster strong literacy, communication, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Absess student learning and provide meaningful feedback.
• Build positive relationships with students and families.
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning and school initiatives.
• Contribute to the vibrant life of the school community.

Requirements

• Current Oregon Teaching License (or ability to obtain one)
• Appropriate endorsement in Language Arts and/or Mathematics
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to student-centered learning

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a background check and authorization to work in the United States is required.
• This is a non-management position
• This is a full-time position

Pay

Salary Range: $45,397 (Bachelor's Degree, Step 0) – $64,602 (Master's Degree, Step 7+), depending on education and experience.
