About the role

The Position Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and a Michigan Teaching Certificate with at least one of the following endorsements: English Language Arts (BA), (BX), or (BQ). ZC & ZK "all subjects" endorsements will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Use creative instructional strategies along with best practices for classroom Teaching which Promotes Interactive Learning And Student Engagement Through Technology, Literature, And Writing.
  • Be adept with technology and ready to consider emergent techniques to enhance student achievement.
  • Aide in research, development, implementation, and evaluation of the English Language Arts curriculum;
  • Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans;
  • Incorporate practical application of content knowledge in lesson plans;
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each learner;
  • Develop and implement progressive classroom-based interventions;
  • Utilize progress monitoring;
  • Maintain accurate student classroom records;
  • Oversee publication of the "Kearsley Echo" and "Kearsley Eclipse".
