About the role
The Middle School ELA Teacher will lead a dynamic classroom, fostering a love for literature and writing among students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards.
- Instruct students in reading comprehension, grammar, and creative writing.
- Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and share best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching license in Middle School ELA.
- Experience teaching Middle School ELA preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
