About the role

A Faribault Middle School coach is responsible for planning, directing and leading an education based athletic program that seeks to develop the whole child's well being. Reports to the Middle School Activities Coordinator, High School Activities Director, and Head High School Basketball Coach. Compensation and duration of the assignment are as negotiated. Performance of the job will be evaluated annually by the Middle School Activities Coordinator and High School Activities Director.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching in an education based athletic program required.
• Certified teacher preferred.
• Playing and/or coaching experience preferred.
• Coaching background preferred (no specific licensure required).

Responsibilities

To accept the responsibility of the program and work with the student-athletes in the sport assigned and to provide life lessons that will positively impact the physical, social and emotional well being of all who are involved.
