Middle School Classroom Aide

Job Summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation seeks a dependable and supportive Middle School Classroom Aide to assist teachers in creating a structured, respectful, and engaging learning environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities, including small-group and individual student support.
• Help maintain a structured and organized classroom environment.
• Support middle school students with assignments and classroom tasks.
• Reinforce classroom expectations and promote positive behavior.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and other assigned times.
• Prepare classroom materials and assist with organizational tasks.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff to support student needs.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with students.

Job Requirements

• Experience working with middle school-aged students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Patient, reliable, and a positive attitude.
• Able to support a structured and respectful learning environment.
• Commitment to the mission and values of St. Cecilia School and Academy.
