About the role
The Middle School Choral Assistant will support the music department in providing high-quality choral experiences for students.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and preparation of choral rehearsals and performances
- Support the music teacher in managing the choral program logistics
- Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for students
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
- Experience working with middle school students
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
Qualifications
- Pass a criminal background check
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of choral techniques and music theory
