About the role

The Middle School Boys Soccer Coach will lead the boys soccer program at Riverdale Country School, fostering a competitive yet inclusive environment that promotes sportsmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive soccer training program for middle school boys
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices, games, and travel arrangements
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive athletic department
• Attend all games and practices to support the team and provide guidance
• Communicate regularly with parents and players to maintain open lines of communication

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of coaching experience at the middle school level
• Experience with middle school-aged boys
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of soccer rules and regulations
• Knowledgeable about middle school development and psychology
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Passion for working with middle school-aged boys

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The Middle School Boys Soccer Coach will work part-time, typically 20 hours per week during the school year.
